Hummus is an ancient dish of controversial origin, which has never been clarified. A number of countries, such as Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, are fighting for humus. There is no exact information where it originated, but the important thing is that it is super tasty, useful and filling. Here is our interpretation:
About 300g. canned chickpeas (you could cook yours if you like to)
50 g. sesame tahini "PEPE"
1-2 cloves garlic
2 tsp of lemon juice
Olive oil to taste
Red pepper for sprinkling
A pinch of cumin
Parsley (optional, for decoration)
Drain the chickpeas, lightly mash it and remove as much of its flakes as possible. Put the sesame tahini, garlic, lemon juice and cumin in the blender. Stir until a homogeneous mixture, add chickpeas, you can add a little water. Serve with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika and parsley. We consume with pleasure, with the people we love.
